Simon works with the residents and homeless in Fortitude Valley, Brisbane, praying for people and  presenting the gospel message of God’s salvation through Jesus Christ. Meeting face to face with people, Simon hears the experiences from this community in a personal and compelling way. We all have a story to tell and want to search for freedom from whatever our captivity is. This is a sensible response to our world.

The message of faith Simon presents has been with us since God began His evident work with our nations thousands of years ago, from the Cross of Christ at Calvary, to the future for God’s purposes with mankind as participant in the Kingdom of God in the ages to come. This message is always about faith so as man cannot boast before God. It is always about receiving what God has offered us through grace alone.

The divine message is a promise from God, born not of flesh, but of Spirit. God is Spirit. He provides a spiritual way in which mankind may be in communion with Him. This message is one of turning to God in faith to His Son Jesus Christ, for the cleansing of our sins by the blood of His Son, a once and sufficient sacrifice for mankind’s sins and a propitiation for our own spirit to be presentable to God without sin for communion and fellowship with Him.

As part of Simon’s ongoing ministry of evangelism, Simon presents God’s message faithfully in Fortitude Valley under the Lord’s protection and from locals. Simon has continued this for the last 8 years in the Valley, presently up to 2018 at time of publishing our website. Simon follows a real goal of personal witness and invitation to the gospel message of salvation to at least 8 people each time as he talks to those in this area, praying for at least 8 people. The Christian reference to “8” is resurrection. Whilst we talk of the death of Jesus Christ on the Cross, where Christ bore our sins, the message is also one of resurrection that we share with Him. Death has been overcome and God has witnessed this to us. As we consider God’s invitation to know Him and His joy, we too may find complete reliability and sureness in our own joy and identity in God. This journey becomes a promise for us, a new timeline in Christ where we are known by Him.
