When you go to church you meet people from all walks of life. There are a myriad of different churches depending on your personality, needs and age group.

Churches are in every country in the world. It is like a huge family. When you start attending a church regularly you can then join a group at that church, like the music group, bible study, craft, businessman’s, youth groups and it through these you make life-long friends.
You should attend church every week and if possible a mid-week meeting.
People will be excited when you attend church and want to get to know you and become your friend. Also, many people meet their husband or wife through church.
At church you will sing songs to God. You will feel his loving presence come around you. Church will have teachings from the Bible that will help you and inspire you to succeed in life.

If you attend a church and they preach a lot about how their Church is the only one whose believers are going to heaven and all the others are wrong, than you may have joined a cult, so be reasonably careful. A good, healthy church has an outward vision. In other words, they are concerned with social issues outside the church and are seeking to make society a better place. When the disciples asked Jesus how do we know some one is a Christian, he replied, “If you have love on for another”. In other words, a true church or a Christian is one who loves all the other Christians and churches.

You have a huge family out there and they are really looking forward to meeting you. When you go to church do not expect it to be perfect, but there will be things for you, likes and dislikes – a bit like a family.
